Petitioner was tried in the Old Bailey in London February 1809 and sentenced to transportation for life. Petitioner has been in the Brickfield gang and the overseer is ready to certify as to his good conduct and diligence under the overseer that Petitioner trusts that by pursuing the paths of honesty and industry he will be able to make some provision for his support in old age could he get from government labour. Petitioner therefore humbly prays that Your Excellency will in goodness and humanity extend the Royal Clemency in remitting his sentence, conditional.....
